Property Insurance

Property Insurance is insurance on real property for protection against most risks, hazards, and perils, such as fire, theft, and some storm and weather damage. Property insurance can also include specialized forms of insurance such as flood and earthquake insurance. Property is generally insured in the manner of open perils, which covers all causes of loss not specifically excluded in a policy, or named perils, which covers only causes of loss listed in a policy. Property can be valued through loss of use, replacement value, and market value methods. Commercial property insurance is often bundled with liability insurance, which protects your business assets if the business is sued for bodily injury or property damage.

Do I Have A Case Against The Car Dealer's Insurance Company?
A dealer loaner car parked under our carport caught fire, exploded and burned our house down. The car dealer's liability insurance company has accepted responsibility. We are underinsured on our homeowner's policy. The car dealer's insurance company is refusing to compensate us for the replacement value of our loss and our homeowner's policy doesn't cover everything. Do we have a case against the dealer's insurance company with regard to rebuilding our home to its former condition and replacing our personal property that was destroyed? Also, I lost three beloved pets in the incident and am heartbroken. Due to the loss of my home and the loss of my pets I am suffering from a tremendous amount of stress and anxiety. Is it too much to ask that my possessions and home be replaced and that a donation be made to a local animal shelter in the memory of my pets?
